We recommend it highly. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks last January. It is the best hotel in Lima . Since it is located in Miraflores, the best city in the capital, you can't ask for anything better. Staying at this hotel you are close to everything. It is within walking distance to Larcomar, a shopping center with tons of shops, good restaurants, movies, etc. It is next to the beach too. It is also in a quiet residential area, but close to all the amenities you'd want. The food in the hotel restaurants is great. The rooms have wonderful views and really comfortable beds. The stay is pricey, but they have different optons and you can get government employee discounts. It is definitely worth it. The room service and the housekeeping services are 5 star too. We only found the front desk staff (especially a couple of young ladies) to need some customer service training (paying so much for a 5 star hotel, we expected the best all the time...) They have a nice bar with the best Pisco Sours (the national drink of Peru). The swimming pool is at the top of the building and it is tempered, beautiful and panoramic. Breakfast at the restaurant on top of the hotel is also great. Their business center and gym are functional enough. Miraflores is also a relatively safe city. We had no problem at all, but obviously, don't go walking on the street flaunting jewelry or cameras... Just be safe as you would be in any big city and you will be safe. Buen viaje!

While you will read that this hotel is in the prestigious Miraflores district, you should also be aware that the Miraflores district still apparently requires an armed guard outside your hotel. Warnings are posted in each room regarding the unsafe nature of the neighborhood and city. Having said that, the hotel was a good one. The restaurant service was non-existent one day but five-star the next. Food is excellent. Room was comfortable with a great view. Definitely the best hotel in the city.
