  We stayed at the Mountain Star Lodge for the weekend of my brother's wedding. 2 nights, 274.00. My parents, the bride's parents and many of our close friends and family also stayed there becuase it was close to the wedding location. The location was the only good thing about this place. The rooms were dirty and bug infested. The beds were hard and incredibly uncomfortable. You could hear the people next door taking a shower, blow drying their hair and brushing their teeth becuase the walls were so thin. There were no pool towels, and the towels in the room were thin and scratchy. The breakfast was disgusting. Everyone we knew who stayed there had a similar experience so I am certain that it was not just because we got a bad room. After the first night we tried to move our reservation to the Hampton Inn down the road but due to the holiday weekend they were completely booked. Unfortunately, we were stuck, do not make the same mistake we did!
