Important Hotel Information
- Please Note: A 2% civic assessment is charged on all sales of tangible personal property (including food, beverage, and lodging charges) within the Breckenridge Mountain Master Association (BMMA) boundary. This assessment provides funding for the BMMA (which is a non-profit corporation) to provide maintenance and upkeep of the common areas within such boundary.
- Please note that all hotel guests are responsible for paying the property's daily resort fee of 20.00 USD (taxable) per room upon check-out. Resort fees are collected directly by the hotel.

We loved our stay at Mountain Thunder. The condo was lovely and spacious, and we particularly enjoyed the daily maid service and shuttle to EVERYTHING in town. You could literally park in the underground garage and never move your car during the entire stay. Front desk personnel were extremely helpful and the ski locker-included-in-stay was so convenient. Excellent location at base of Peak 8 with a ski-in feature that was great for the last run of the day. We'll definitely be going back to Mountain Thunder!

My family stayed in one of the townhomes in August 2007 and had a positive experience. The townhomes are privately owned and are in a booking pool through the hotels. The townhome had two bedrooms, fireplace, two bathrooms, complete kitchen and livingroom/dining room area, and garage. The accomofations were clean and very comfortable. There is also a patio backing up to a wooded area. The hotel has a lovely pool area with ahot tub. The hotel is about a 2 block walk to town but while you are on the grounds you feel very secluded. The only negative point, if there was one, is the side where are townhome was located is below a road leading up to the mountain, which made it a litte noisy at night. We are considering retruning in July 2009.

The Mountain Thunder Lodge is a terrific place to stay for skiiers. It is a short walk to the gondola which accesses several ski mountains. Best of all, one can ski directly to the Lodge at the end of the day. And at the end of the day, the outside hot tubs were fantastic. Service was terrific. The staff was always very courteous and diligent. Their vans will shuttle you anywhere in town, so conveniently. I normally don't tip at hotels but left a generous tip for the cleaning person because our condo was always so well attended to. When we ski again at Breckenridge, we will definitely stay there. It is first-class!
