We just returned from Aruba, where we stayed at 2 different locations, as it was our first time on the island and we wanted different experiences. MVC is a no frills place with the friendliest staff you will ever meet and a wonderful restaurant and bar (be sure to have the sangria). The room was spartan but met our needs. The bathroom was a little small, with a tiny shower, but for the amazing rate it was doable--the water pressure was way better at MVC than at the more swank resort we went to following our stay here. I would totally recommend staying at the MVC Eagle Beach if you are fine with toting your own luggage. It's not for spoiled travelers, but it was GREAT! I know that the next time we go to Aruba, I will definitely stay here again.

The room was spotlessly clean, bed linen was nice. The hotel was opposite a beautiful beach. The hotel supplied beach towels and chairs. The only downside was that you had to drag your chair across the road to the beach.

What a truly enjoyable experience. This hotel is clean, comfortable and located mere feet from the beach . The staff were uniformly competent, friendly and professional. There is a reasonably priced restaurant located in the courtyard which serves a varied menu and all of our meals were very good. Deserts are sinful and huge. This hotel stay has been our most enjoyable trip in more than twenty years of travel and worth every penny of the cost, in fact, the best bargain I can remember. I can't say enough about our delight in our choice. If you are looking for a moderately priced stay at a great facility and location, I'm sure there are none to compare in Aruba.

Great value for the money! I traveled alone and felt very safe here. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean too. It was easy to get to town, the bus pick-up point was right across the street from the hotel. The Tulip resturant was very good. I loved the Indonesonia dishes. The beach was very nice and also just across the street. I would stay there again.
