i visited this hotel for the first time last year for the Essence Music Festival and absolutely LOVED it!! The staff was awesome...so helpful and friendly...and our room was great too. The beds were so comfy and we had a great view...will not stay anywhere else when I visit the New Orleans area!! If you think its a little pricey...ITS WORTH IT!!! Short drive to the Superdome and all the action on the strip. Cant wait to return this year!!!

Desk service was excellent - the desk person arranged for a cab and it was very timely. I was a late arrival - in the am found I did not have a working coffee pot or hair dryer in the room. The bed was comfortable - and the room pretty clean. There was a large gap under the door to my room. While it served the purpose likely I would not stay here again just based on location.
