I stayed one night. Easy to get there, right off the highway. A small friendly place. Breakfast included, many choices, all looked good. Would definitely stay again. Only negative - thare are two floors and no elevator. If you have difficulty getting a suitcase up one flight of stairs, ask for a room on the first floor. I was fortunate that I had only one small suitcase. When I stay again, I will definitely ask for a first floor room.

My husband and I spent a week at the Manchebo in November. We had an great room and really enjoyed it. Very comfortable bedding and accomodations with a small refrigerator, wireless internet, and room service on demanf. The housekeeping staff was excellent . We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel each morning and the happy hour was fun too. This was our first trip to Norwalk and Norwalk Inn was just what we were looking for... Laid back, comfortable, friendly and right near IMAX theater and Westport, CT. As other have said, the town here and the surrounding city's are absolutely gorgeous! We left for a day and traveled by train to NYC with the mentro and in less thank 45 minutes where at Grand Cental and took a full bus tour of the town, highly recommended! We will be back definatley to Norwalk Inn.

One of the greatest things about the hotel is how it?s in the middle of everything. The place is right off the interstate (a couple of blocks), and another couple of blocks from the town green and downtown clubs, cultural spots, etc. Norwalk itself is in easy distance to half a dozen great towns in Fairfield County, and less than an hour commute from New York City. It?s also has great rates, very good service, extremely comfortable beds, and attentive staff, but the location is about the best.

Our business stay and conference went flawlessly from the facilities to the catering, and I can say one of the best parts was hanging out at the lounge afterwards, since it?s an attractive little outdoors-y setup with a lot of friendly people about, including other guests traveling on business and interesting local business men. Even Norwalk the town is very nice, from the town hall and town green (both within a block) to the clubs/artsy district a few blocks away.
In traveling through hotels on business, I?ve developed two basic complains- the expensive ones are too impersonal, and the inexpensive ones are too inconvienant. The Norwalk Inn is the exception to the rule, one great establishment that strikes the right balance between attentive, very responsive service with an even better location than the chains.
A very nice place, very much recommended. -

Nice place overall. Regarding the breakfast, I was dissapointed being charged $12 for an extra person. I would have put the value at $8 at the most. It was well above a typical continental breakfast, but well below what I could have purchased for $12. Why not be reasonable? It was nice overall.
