“Great value/Great Hotel” Day staff at the front desk were very friendly/helpful. Coffee/tea always available in lobby. Evening clerk informed us at check-in that the BBQ was out of propane, and none would be available til following day. We offered to pick-up more if we would be reimbursed, and he said it wasn't possible to do. Annoying, because we had brought steaks with us. We had to go to the Safeway (directly across the street in shopping centre- also included a liquor store, Wal-Mart, Cdn Tire-so very convenient) to pick-up something for dinner that could go in microwave. Good-sized room included full silverware/ dishes/glassware/wine glasses for 4, plus several pyrex bowls for vegies/side dishes. Also had vegie peeler, corkscrew, cutting board, sharp knives, pot holder, dish soap, towel + cloth-well-stocked. Bar fridge has a small freezer too. Lack of space/chairs to eat meals in room. The free cont. breakfast was FABULOUS for the variety of items included: omelettes, waffles, oatmeal, French toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast, juices. Definitely recommend. Quiet rooms/hallways, even near elevator. Didn't try the pool, can't comment. A wonderful welcoming, reasonably priced place to stay outside of Jasper Park.
