  We usually stay at another hotel in town but when I called they were booked up. They suggested I call the Palace and I'm glad I did. The staff were all so friendly and my room was comfortable and clean. Geez, my husband even remarked on this. We enjoyed their free continental breakfast and the nice man at the desk gave us trolley ride tickets for a tour around town. They don't have a fitness room but the hotel is across from the beach (I jog) and the view from my balcony was awesome (had my coffee out there every morning). The price was great too for a weekend in Cape May. My husband and I look forward to another stay at the Palace.

  We reserved 3 nights based on the pics on their website and brochure, at ""the palace"" and when we pulled up, it was no palace. it looked like ...

  We reserved 3 nights based on the pics on their website and brochure, at ""The Palace"" and when we pulled up, it was no Palace. It looked like some cheesy motel on a side road with a large neon sign on Beach Ave. We did not want to even go in and could not get another room in town for the 3 nights so we had to go back to NY. According to their policy when I called there was no refund for the first.
