Great hotel I think one of the best I've stayed in...Relaxing, nice and quiet, great room, nice views, friendly staff, beach in front of it not great but not hotels fault. only thing I didnt like is I have a 2 year old, and theres nothing there for kids except a old broken playground. But still had a great time we loved it!!!

Not the level of service I expect

The room is great, the beach is wonderful, the service is ...ehhh. in my experience when i am at a hotel they usually are ready to drop everything to help you. we requested a crib and it took until nearly 10 pm for us to get one in the room and it also took some requesting of managers who essentially called me a lier when they said i had not made a request for one 2 weeks before (when i had). also it took 3 attempts to get the key cards to work. Finally we requested the safe in the room to be unlocked and it never was, i didn't feel like harassing them into doing their jobs again so i just went without. One positive is they have a free service where you can have them grocery shop for you, which is convenient when you have the full'ish kitchen (cook top + microwave + Fridge + dishwasher) Southern hospitality, well i hope this is not indicative of this.

The reason we picked this hotel on the beach was because we stayed there last year in April when it was Ocean Sands Resort and Spa, when we arrived this year, we were very excited to see the new remodeling that was done. Check in went well and when we arrived in our room it was clean and neat. Next morning we went to check out the new breakfast, there were allot of choices, but the hot food was not very hot at all, the breakfast potatoes were cold every day that we were there. On the 3rd day of our stay we spent the day on the beach, we went back up to our room at 4:45 pm and our room had not been cleaned, we had no clean towels to shower and had to go down to the desk and ask for maid service, we left to go eat supper and came back at 8, our room had fresh towels but no cleaning was done, the bathroom tub was never cleaned and neither were the floors, I had to try and clean the tub with no cleaner so I could use it. On the 4th day we came back to our room and it was left unlocked after maid service, that was the final straw for our stay.They need to work on their customer service and fix broken things like door locks to rooms!!
