Stay was on Sept 4, 2009 prior to a cruise . Excellent facilities high quality furnishings, comfortable bed, very quiet room , luxurious showers and a very complete breakfast, . Superb staff was very helpful went well above what was expected in service. Would stay here again. Location is a bit unusual for a hotel, Easy walking distance to ancient Agora , and a 15 minute walk to Acropolis. . Print up a map to give to the taxi drivers . will help them if they are not familiar with the small side street locat

My husband and I travel to Greece every year to see his family and we typically stay in Athens a few days before we head out to the village. We stumbled on Ochre & Brown in a travel magazine and decided to stay there. Let me tell you that we are used to not having good service in Greece, it's really unheard of. But at Ochre & Brown we were treated like royalty! The front desk was very helpful (and you can check out movies from them during your stay), the waiter in their cafe was amazing and the food was great. The rooms are on the small side, but that was fine for my husband and I. The location was great because we really enjoy that area of Athens- it's practically across the street from Thissio which is home to great restaurants and shops and of course the Acropolis. We highly recommend Ochre & Brown!

We are a couple who stayed two days in Athens before heading to the Islands and felt we picked the perfect hotel. It is located walking distance from all you need to see in Athens if you are there for 2 days. It is a really cute boutique hotel. The room is small but very new, clean and with a really cute decor. The bed was totally comfortable and the breakfast was really nice. The hotel staff was amazing, getting taxis for us, explaining the maps and getting towels when we needed them. The area of Psiri where the hotel is located is also really fun especially for a young couple. It is a very cool, hip young area that has great bars and great atmosphere to grab a drink at night.
We highy recommend this hotel especially if you have a short time in Athens! -

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend and we were impressed by the service and the modern design of the hotel. It is in a great location in the heart of Psirri. The breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel and their omelets are delicious... We were happily surprised by the housekeeping which passed by three times the first day and four the second one. Professional staff and excellent food!!!
