  Other than the lobby and breakfast area, which was clean and acceptable, the general appearance of all three floors and the outside entrance area, grounds, and parking lot was not eye friendly. Lots of clutter, papers, cups, cigarette butts, etc., etc.The ice machine on the first floor was broken with a sign saying one must go to the third floor to get ice.The room smelled of disinfectant. In the bathroom, a wall vent has come unfastened and is hanging loose.The bathtub is horribly stained on the bottom.The bathroom floor is sticky and the side molding is deteriorating.The toilet was coming loose from the floor and unstable when one was sitting on it.The room walls are cracked and stained. There is a 2 x 3 foot water stain in the ceiling by the window.Area around the room air conditioner is deteriorating.Front door has ugly stains on it.

  We checked in after midnight and we're greeted by a very friendly and upbeat desk clerk. The next morning there were cereal choices including a variety of oatmeal, muffins, fresh made waffles and fresh fruit at the continental breakfast. The 2nd morning we were suprised to see that there were train tracks south of the hotel. We had not heard them either night nor the next one. All of the employees were friendly and wanted to help make our stay pleasant and comfortable. We will stay there whenever we are in Odessa.

  The hotel was nice. staff was friendly and helpful. our room was a good deal for the money. it was clean and very comfortable. the only thing that bothered me ...

  The hotel was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a good deal for the money. It was clean and very comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was that the back entrance/exit door did not lock. It was supposed to lock and open only with the room key, but would not lock. We will stay again.
