This was my daughters first visit to Hawaii and we wanted something central and not too expensive. My travel agent suggested this hotel and we were very happy. The rooms, a bit dated and the bathrooms could use some new tiles were large enough for the 2 of us. We were upgraded to a room with a little kitchen which was perfect for leftovers, bottles of water and some breakfast things. The location was great - a short 2 blocks to the beach, Starbucks just outside and the free "Pink" trolly line has a pick up spot just outside. The front desk staff were very helpful and the travel desk to book your excursions were very helpful as well. We are already planning our return trip next year and will stay at this hotel again.

Staff was very helpful with all areas. Parking was an issue, but they were able to solve the problem. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the pool. The location was great, walking distance to many different activities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lets start from the top, our travel agent booked us adjoining rooms because we went with another couple, didnt get it! Our floor was completely filled with teenage volley ball players that thought cookie fights, playing soccer, holerin was acceptable, not! and when you finally got a elevator that took forever, you guessed it, filled with teens, that thought pushing ever button to the top would be fun, not! we felt very sorry for the housekeeping staff, the halls were always a mess!!Security busted us a few times because our door was open (because we never got our adjoining rooms, this was the best way of travelling from room to room), and just where were they when the teens were acting up?????? The first 7 days of our 10 day holiday was terriable. A great location, pool and lounge good, Nashville Waikiki was the best. The shower stall
