The Omni La Mansion was everything we could ask for. The service was impeccable, the staff was friendly and helpful in helping us find our way around and out of the city. The Riverwalk was literally right out our back door. The courtyard was cozy and quaint, as was the pool area. The food in the main restaurant was to die for. It was brought to our table by the chef who cut the meat right in front of us. The service provided by the restaurant staff could not be beat. Everything about the motel was top notch. It was a refreshing change from modern hotels/motels. We would recommend this hotel to anyone going to San Antonio. It was over the top.

We were in San Antonio for a seminar for husbands business. We stayed Sat. thru Tues and had excellant service from the staff. The room was charming, clean and met all our needs. We were across from the elevator on ground floor, but didn't really get bothered by noise too much. The concierge, front desk and other staff were always helpful and friendly. I had a problem with a tour I had booked and the concierge, Phillip, cleared up the problem with professionalism and courtesy. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend this hotel to others.

Right from the beginning when you enter hotel premises you know that you will enjoy your stay. And so, from very friendly and usefull front desk staff to all other services have to say so far one of the best in San Antonio. Location is great, rooms are right in style with mansion spanish type hotel and heated outdoor pool only helped tp enjoy our stay. Overall very good rating, would come back and recommended for sure.

Worst Stay EVER!!

When we first arrived at 3pm we were told our room was not ready. On our reservation it said we could check in at 3pm. We then waited for 45min so that our room could be cleaned. No apologies were given for the inconvenience. This was not the worst of what was to come. At 4am the fire alarm went off….after dressing and walking down 6 flights of stairs the “all clear” alarm went off. Not only was this a HUGE inconvenience and disruption to our ‘restful vacation’ but as we checked out I expected some sort of compensation. Or at least an apology (but I really expected to be compensated, our $* room was a waste of money). The front desk simply said “there was an issue in the kitchen.” No apology, no nothing. After waiting for her to say something nice I told her I was greatly unhappy…she was very rude and said “oh well, it’s better to be safe than sorry”. I will never stay here again; I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. And I will post my story on any opinion board so that good people are warned about the quality of this hotel.
