Although we don't normally stay at B&Bs we are sure glad we tried this one. The 2nd floor three room suite was tiny, but very clean and comfortable with a spotless shower and modern comforts like wifi and cable TV. The antique furnishings were interesting, simple and uncluttered. Chuck & Sue Starr were the perfect hosts and it only took a short phone call to make arrangements for our late arrival. Sue's full breakfasts were yummy with three unique fresh muffin choices every day—we ate them all! The grounds around the house, cottages and motel unit showed off Chuck’s green thumb beautifully. We enjoyed a relaxing hour in the spa tub after a long day of hiking in beautiful Acadia NP. If you want to stay somewhere that REALLY feels like home away from home, stay here!

Good Points first - 1. Homely.. mainly managed by the apartment owner. 2. Wooden cottages, well maintained. 3, Breakfast served well. Things that can be improved :- 1. No Microwave in the rooms, the room size is very small. 2. Little far from the Acadia park, 20 mins drive. 3. no internet connection available.

We loved our stay here! The owners were very helpful and friendly. The small continental breakfast was wonderful, fresh baked muffins, hard boiled eggs, frresh fruit! It was so clean and quaint. A perfect place for a couple to stay who are looking for more of a non-motel feel and a resting place close to the incredible sights of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Right next door is a great little place to get a good lobster dinner.
