  We booked through an online travel agency, we were confirmed a king room. We ended up with 2 queen beds in a room next to the launry/housekeeping room. I called the front desk and they said they were totally booked so they couldn't move us. They didn't offer anything else to compensate us either. So I called the online travel agency and waited on hold while they called the hotel. The hotel admitted it was their error, so the online travel agency rep told me I would have to deal with the front desk myself. Went to the front desk and asked if there wasn't something they could do, it was after all our 39th wedding anniversary, suppose to be special! They offered to bring us wine and a cheese plate to our room. It was something, but not exactly what I expected under the circumstances. The room itself was nothing special. We had paid half price so I guess we got what we paid for. Can't help thinking that was the reason why we got the crappy room. We had dinner at their resturant. It was very good. They brought us a special dessert for our anniversary. The hotel grounds are lovely. By the way they do have a pool, on line travel agency info says they just have a hot tub, that is incorrect.
