We had a great time. Our room was ready upon arrival, accommodations were beautiful, the staff was great and extremely friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect. We stayed in The Reserve and the suite was spacious, dining room, living room, large bedroom, jacuzzi, etc. The private pool area was conducive to relaxing which was a primary objective of our vacation. The staff walked by throughout the day to see if anyone wanted drinks so we didn't have to leave our chairs if we didn't want to. We had lunch from the grill by the pool sometimes from the buffet. The food was always good. . .breakfast and lunch. For dinner, we tried most of the restaurants although a couple times we were unable to get into a restaurant and they did not take reservations. The beach is absolutely incredible; walking the beach daily as well as the beautiful grounds was the extent of our exercise while on vacation. Spent some time at the spa; massage, facial, pool, hot tub, sauna. Bottom line. . .a great time, a very relaxing vacation and a refreshing break from work!

My family and i cannot get enough of Paradissus! They continue to provide excellent service all around. Food is great, rooms are excellent, and the landscape and sorroundings are impeccable! Just as every diamond has its flaws, Paradissus has minor shortcomings, such as some of the restaurants are hard to get reservations when you want them, but if you are flexible, they will work to ensure you are satisfied...Enjoy the beautiful white sand, emerald waters, and the outstanding service by the beach and pool staff! Can't wait to go back!!! Have a blast!!!

From day one, our vacation booked through you was not a good experience. We were greeted at the hotel by Diego who called himself our concierge. An outright lie and totally false. He is a salesman for Sol Melia Vacation Club. First thing is he offered a free 2 night upgrade to what according to him was a more upscale resort. We are on vacation and do not want to be moving rooms or hotels so we declined. No problem for him. He now offered some accomodations, free goods and so many other things that I dos not recall exactlay. All in exchange, accoriding to him, for 90 minutes of our time. Another lie. This went on until another guest approached us and told us out right that this was a sales pitch and we should avoid as they would use 1 of our days for a pressure sales pitch. While the other guest explained their procedure another hotel employee insulted the other guest and told him to remove himself. First. I do not recall agreeing in our contract with you to a high pressure sales presentation for something we do not want. Second, nothing in your contracta with me states so. Anyhow, it was most unpleasant as we saw these individuals the rest of the week. WE HAD A LOUSY VACATION IN A NICE PLACE. I would like to have an explanation from you as well as the hotel operator since when I go on vacation the least I want is to be pressured on to listening to a sales pitch. This did not stop for the week as we were constantly approached by other salesmen while on the beach or having breakfast or simply walking the ground. My nam is Pablo W. Grollmus.

Upon arriving at the resort we were both taken away by the beauty of the place. That beauty continued from the lobby throughout the resort. We used the "Royal Service" which allowed us to skip the normal check-in process for a private area to check in. Also chose this option for the adult only areas during the day which was nice to not hear kids screaming during the vacation. Also get a "private" butler to help you through the day, but that was where the hiccup came. My wife was in a walking cast which made it difficult for long walks. It was a crap shoot as to if we could get the butler to give us a ride, so it was usually quicker to just take the regular resort shuttle. I think they could solve that problem if there were maybe more than one butler for the entire royal service area. The staff were very friendly all around and more than willing to help us with anything we needed. Be sure you get to your restaurant of choice early because they fill up quickly. Since it was the off season we had to go to four places one night for dinner because they were either full or closed. The food was edible but very bland for our taste. Kinda expected a little more spice in all the meals. My wiffe commented that the lobster was cooked enough to taste like pork chops one night. All in all the pros outweighed the cons and we both plan on going back next year. P.S. stay away from the casino. They are very tight and not very attentive when its time to cash out...

paradisus punta cana had great staff, very attentive and whatever you wanted. However, rooms were old and food only average. The only other con was that we got hassled to buy extras, ie excursions, vacation club, pictures etc and this was all on the resort (not like beach peddlers). I have been to other islands and all inclusives, and did not get hassled like this. Pro was we did "royal service" for not much more per person and that was definately worth it. Our own eating area, no kids, adult pool and swim up bar and a butler at your call for anything. Also, we do like more organized beach activities...volleyball,etc. Although they gave us a activities sheet....it didnt always happen. that of course is a personal preference.
