if the manager treats the guest the way they do, how can i expect to be treated better by the staff? the front desk treat us like children, they all think we are idiots!! the restaurant manager has the worst english ever and the staff is a joke! room service was cold and late every time! the wake up coffee is terrible, dont ask for it! it is the only thing you will get for free and is tastes like dirt! everything is is over priced, they think the are the best hotel in the area when they are just another one, i rather stay in a motel next time! The staff from the spa is extremely rude, the gift shop is a joke, normas is ridiculous, the only good thing about that place is the bed. The amenities they claim to be so good, is ridiculous. The entire place makes you wish you were some place else!

Way overpriced, Spa was HORRIBLE! Inside smells old and the staff are rude...oh yah, pool was dirty the whole entire stay. I think they get business off photo shoots because they can't be making money off the rooms....go somewhere else like the Riviera, or Esmeralda

I LOVED this hotel !! I realize that it is the off season, who wants to spend time in the desert when it is 115 degrees outside, but this is when we went. The staff was GREAT. I could not have asked for better service. The grounds are beautiful, there are so many small private sitting areas just to relax and take in the beauty. Everything was so clean and well maintained. The decor of the hotel may not be for everyone but I love the whole late 60's - 70's mod thing and it was nice to see the theme carried out throughout the grounds of the hotel, not just the lobby. X and X at Mr. Parkers were amazing and the food was good as well. We stayed on the Glutton package and that was great. Drinks are pricey but what do you expect at any resort. We played tennis one day, the red clay courts are great and very well maintained, a nice pool, nothing fancy but great pool side service and comfy chaises. We are planning a trip again for October.

I'm obviously a glutten for punishment because my last trip to The Parker wasn't bad enough I had to subject myself to another round of annoyances. I was planning to check in later in the afternoon when my husband arrived. Prior to that some local friends met me in the lobby for breakfast at Norma's which although completely overpriced, does have good food. While we were waiting we ended up taking a few photos. May i mention that the hotel was completely vacant and there was not a person in sight...we were completely alone in the area!!! We weren't there 10 minutes when some person asked extremely rudely if she could help us....we said No, we're just waiting and talking. She proceeded to say that there are no photographs to be taken in the hotel at all and she is going to call the manager!!! TALK ABOUT OVER-REACTING!!!! We tried to explain that we were just taking a few shots of each other and isn't that what people do in hotels when on vacation????? SO, the manager came over and was equally as rude and proceeded to say that people pay $5000 to take photos in HIS hotel and Calvin Klein was just there and there is no way we would be allowed to shoot not even CASUAL, NON-COMMERCIAL photos or any photos at all. He claimed also that it was an issue if other guests were in the photo...we looked around confused since the place was deserted!!!!! So, we left....i never checked in and went to the Riviera instead...we didn't eat at Norma's...AND I WILL MOST DEFINITELY NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN!!! AND APPARENTLY NO ONE ELSE DOES EITHER BECAUSE IT WAS SPRING BREAK & DESERTED...THIS PLACE IS SO ANNOYING AND WANNABE...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
