We arrived at the hotel and were promptly taken to the room we had booked, which had a patio on the tropical garden courtyard where the pool, bar, restaurants, etc. are. Just out of curiosity, the next day we asked if there were any upgrades available, and we were moved to an oceanfront room (with balcony and more room) at a better rate than found online.Very satisfied with the room quality, restaurant food, pool, and especially the private beach. This is one of the best hotels in Key West, and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Drove into town with NO reservation and they had a vacancy. Boy did we luck out! Beautiful room! I think each has a balcony. Great garden area, private beach, pool, hot tub. It truly was Paradise. Very clean, wonderful bathroom. Loved it!

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th Anniversary. We had a fantastic stay! This resort has the best views , best location, and best service. My husband and I have traveled quite a bit, and would definitely say this resort ranks up there as one of the best places we have stayed! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The concierge was extremely helpful ...he even booked a fabulous romantic anniversary dinner for my husband and I at Latitudes...where we were able to watch the sunset as we sat and ate a fabulous dinner only steps aways from the beach. I can't say enough about our stay at the Pier House. We had a room in one of their Carribean Spa rooms. While we did not have a view of the ocean....our room was still very nice and we had a nice view of Duval St.. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Despite the fact that this resort is located on Duval St. close to where all of the nightlife and shopping is.. you would never know this once inside this resort. You feel very secluded at this resort. Whether you are traveling as a family or you want to have a romantic vacation this is a great place to stay. You will love it!

This hotel was at the perfect location. We had a lovely room and were able to walk to every activity we wanted to do while in Key West. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Key West.

The Pier House is the only place I would stay in Key West! The place was immaculate. the staff was courtesy and went way beyond their call of duty. The location was perfect...close to everything. The food and drinks in the harbor cafe were excellent. Our traveling on Saturday, March 6th turned out to be a nightmare so we were 3 hours late getting to the hotel and with no luggage. They immediately gave us some toiletries to hold us over. We went to our standard room with a king bed and found us to be waterfront. What a nice surprise. We thought it because it was our 25th anniversary which they didn't even know about but then gave us a free bottle of champagne. When checking out on Thursday we were on the pier waiting for our son to arrive by ship which ended up being late so I called the hotel and they said no hurry checking out by 12 and we could have the room until 1. They didn't have to do that but like I said way above the call of duty on their part. They helped make it the perfect vacation!
