We have stayed at this hotel once or twice a years since they opened. We love it. It is just a couple of blocks to the OSF theatres and there are great restaurants all around. The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The staff friendly. The breakfast one of the best of it's type. AND there are cookies and PB&J, coffee and milk at night when you come back from the theatre. Yum!

Stayed here several times now on visits to Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Hotel is within walking distance of dining, shopping and the festival venues. Hotel is superior in quality and customer service to others I have stayed in during visits to Ashland.

My two girlfriends and I from high school had a wonderful time here. The smell of fresh cookies each evening lured us to the dining area where we were pleasantly surprised with a selection of cookies and milk or tea. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff did their best to keep up with the morning rush of hungry guests. Our room was also comfortable and welcoming so when we wanted to just hang out and talk we felt right at home. Oh, and I must say, the pillows were heavenly! One morning, the dining room was full and the staff allowed the guests to spill into the "living room" area where the fireplace was so we did just that one time. The only suggestion I would have is that they run the fireplace in the mornings for just such occasions. The evening fireplace was really warm and inviting. Overall, we really loved our stay and would gladly stay there again. It is in a great location, within walking distance of the shops, theater and park. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel and so we spent more than we normally would because the staff convinced me on the phone that this place was worth the money. It wasn't. The hotel was somewhat rundown, the carpet wasn't clean and the stairwells were downright frightening. The evening appetizer was some stale pita bread with hummus, and the breakfast consisted of hockey puck omellets with velveeta cheese. Don't waste your money, trust me.
