Should have spent a little bit more
03/05/2011The bed was not comfortable and the internet did not work properly. i would spend a few more bucks next time and stay in a nicer place.

The room had some sort of fruit fly problem. We must have killed a hundred of them and there were many more flying around the light in the sink area. Also, there looked to be some sort of pet food pellets on they floor against the base board. The breakfast area was not clean either. One trash can in that area looked like hadn't been cleaned in months. It also had more fruit flies around it. The window ledge next to the loft eating area I believe would have been reachable with a cleaning tool, but it was filthy. Not a good experience !

Called hotel Saturday afternnon fearing we would not make it in from San Antonio to find out that we would be charged the night stay anyway. We ended up making it into Fredericksburg wanting to catch the last entrance to museums and parks (LBJ). Checked in went to check out some of the shopps. When we returned to rest and shower, unloaded our luggage and took a better look at the room, beds, and shower. The sheets had blood colored stains and the shower was pretty old and musty. My wife did not feel confortable at all and we decided to go to the front desk. The attendant said that it was too late and housekeeping went home for the night and could not help. She stated that we should have complained as soon as we checked in.
When she would not refund our money because we did not complain soon enough, we decided to head to Austin for the night.
I think Quality Inn should have some one available at all hours to help guests with needs and could do a better job of cleaning the rooms and satisfying customers. -

Recently, we went on a family vacation, and during our travels stayed one night at the Quality Inn in Fredericksburg, TX, and then continued on. When we arrived at our next destination I discovered, much to my horror, that I had left most of my jewelry back at the Quality Inn. (The majority of my jewelry consists of anniversary presents from my husband!) Well, I called the Quality Inn and they said they had found my jewelry and the manager, X, had it locked up. I told them we would be back through the following Saturday to pick it up, and when we arrived they had all of my jewelry in safekeeping for me to pick up!! I was so impressed by their honesty, that we will definitely be staying there again. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and they have a nice free breakfast. Honesty and clean comfortable rooms -- What more can anyone ask for??!

We were traveling to San Antonio when a severe thunderstorm hit. We were about 60 miles outside of Fredericksburg when we realized the storm wasn't going to let up. We began to call around for a hotel. The hotel staff at Quality Inn were very friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It would have been nice, however, if they had room service. We didn't want to go out because of the storm so we had to call for delivery.
