Stayed on October 2, 2010. Room was clean and newly renovated. Front desk staff was very efficient and courteous. The breakfast was good. This place is across the street from the downtown of Front Royal. We walked to a great restaurant for dinner. We didn't have time to check out the other amenities, the pool was closed for the season. Would stay there again, a good place at a fair price. 5 minutes from the north gate of Skyline Drive too.

Hotel room was musty and had obvious shortcomings. Frame around bathroom mirror was falling off. Toilet did not flush properly. When arriving at room, it appeared that room had only been partially cleaned and no clean towels were present. Desk staff was lax about responding to our need for clean towels. Staff stated that they were fully booked as an excuse for the delay - yet only one staff member appeared to be on duty at approximately 10pm. The entire operation seemed horribly amatuerish.

I stayed at the Quality Inn while on business. The room was clean and looked to be recently renovated. There was always clean towels and fresh linens provided. The in room safe worked flawlessly. The refrigerator and microwave were very convienent for an extended two week stay. Wireless internet was fast and always available. There is a computer in the lobby that is available for guest use. The hotel was crowded but not at all noisy. Parking was always available and close to my room. The complimentary breakfast, though not overly extensive, was very good. The staff was always friendly and willing to provide directions or reccommend a restaurant. Overall, it was a wonderful place for a business traveler.
