I stayed in a fair share of the Choice Brand hotels around the country. This one did not live up to the name. Upon arrival, I immediately had to personally exterminate about 5 roaches. I complained to the front desk but, never saw anyone sent to do anything about it. I killed around 20 over the remainder of the weekend. Added to that was the peeling wallpaper and extremely poor placement of the toilet paper in the bathroom. On the up side, they did have a generous sized fridge and microwave. Although, half the buttons on the microwave didn't work. Like I said, overall, it was very disappointing for the brand.

I thought this hotel was very nice for the price. The staff was courteous and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was very good. And the rooms were very clean as well.
