Just got back from spending last night at this hotel. Check in was delayed 2 hours because housekeeping did not get the rooms cleaned when needed. There was only one person at the front desk when they were fully booked on a Saturday and the manager could not be reached. We got to our room and the light socket was broken and the bulb leaning against the shade which was melted and brown. We changed rooms where the hair dryer came off the wall in my hand and was not powerfull enough to dry my hair and smelled like melted plastic. When I tried to use it this morning, if I hadn't turned it off, it probably would have caught fire. We are working with corporate to resolve the issue but who knows.

Normally, I have found Choice Hotels to be reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. The Quality Inn in Chambersburg, PA didn't live up to these standards. Our room was filthy--not untidy, but deep down dirty. The hallway smelled strongly of saurekraut. Repairs that had been made to the hotel were shoddy and poorly done. My family didn't want to stay there. Within an hour we were at another hotel a couple of exits away at $10 less per night. One thing in the hotel's favor--I was fully prepared to sacrifice one night's payment, but they voided all charges.

Standard hotel room. Everything clean. Beds comfortable. Very nice complimentary breakfast with hot and cold items (eggs, french toast, cereal, bagels, muffins). Checked in late in the evening and out the next morning, but everything was nice.

ME & MY HUSBAND STAYED AT THIS HOTEL FOR A TOTAL OF 6 WEEKS. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR STAY HERE. IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPED US WITH ANYTHING THAT WE NEEDED. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE HOUSEKEEPING. DAILY THEY MADE OUR ROOM LOOK PERFECT AND VERY CLEAN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!
