Excellent Stay
03/19/2011Great location, very quiet, clean and modern. fairly small rooms, but large balcony and bathroom. lots of places to eat within a block or so. highly recommend this hotel!!

The hotel was not plush but was clean and adequate. The location was perfect for our needs and had a secure, controlled parking area. On a scale on 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect, this hotel gets a 6 for quality And a 10 for location.

I wanted to stay here b/c of its location and it is SO convenient to everything that is at Fisherman's Wharf and easily accessible via public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was a little bit old and not extremely clean (some cobwebs in the high corners) but overall not a bad deal for the location. My one word of advice, however, is to get a room that is not facing Beach Street. The first night we had a room facing that side and you can hear all of the buses, light rail, and cars driving by. I requested a change to a quieter room which they happily obliged, and the stay improved drastically.

The hotel and room itself were just okay. The room I was in had a wall unit a/c that was not insulated. I could hear every sound from outside. However, the location was PERFECT. Just about on the Wharf and across the street from the F line trolley stop.

The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful, the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet even though the hotel was very busy. I would suggest that they put new TVs in the rooms, it would go a long way to give to update the rooms. It is a perfect location for anyone's first time visit to San Francisco, it puts you in the middle of tourist central. There is great access to any type of transportation and sightseeing opportunities. The price fit our budget perfectly.
