We booked one night in this hotel before departing Port Canaveral on a cruise. We expected much more from Radisson. We checked in around 7pm and there was very little waiting. The staff member at the counter was friendly and courteous. However, when we inquired about the shuttle to the cruise ships, we were told that there were only two remaining times available -- 2 and 2:30pm. With our scheduled embarkation at 12:30, this was not going to work for us. When we asked if there were any other options, the staff member's suggestion was to "show up downstairs at 11:30 and hope they can fit you on the shuttle." We ended up taking a taxi ($* from this hotel) and it was WELL worth it. The shuttle process was a COMPLETE cluster. The grounds were OK -- again, less than what I expect from a Radisson. The buildings needed paint. The room was small for a family of four, but adequate for a one night stay. There was no remote for the television. We called the front desk and asked for another one, but never got it. The beds were adjustable sleep number beds but neither of the beds in our room worked. Customer service was quite poor. We accidentally left something in our room and when we went back to retrieve it the staff had disposed it and then tried to claim that nothing had been found. It is clearly a property that relies on one night stays and does not attempt to build any sort of customer rapport. I will not stay at this property again.

This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. My boyfriend and I drove to Florida from PA and this was our first stop before driving to Miami. We got a really really good price for a hotel like this. Our room was very big with two queen sleep number beds and was extremely comfortable. The pool was the best part of the stay here. It's amazing and it was almost completely empty the whole time we were here. The hotel itself is very quiet and relaxing and no one bothers you. There are ponds and flowers everywhere! The beach is about 5 mins away by car and also very quiet and deserted. This was the ultimate relaxation spot before moving on to the party atmosphere of Miami.

Would not recommend this hotel. This was the most horrific hotel experience ever. The room was infested with fleas, the television was broken, the pull out bed was not usable, the lights did not work in the bathroom and there was an electrical short that kept shorting out the desk light. The hotel staff acted like this was an everyday occurance and changed my room, to a room with only slightly fewer fleas. Find another hotel!

Overall our hotel stay was great for what we wanted. Room was very clean and comfy. The pool itself was clean but the decking could use a pressure wash and a little more tidy. Definitely would return....

Booked 11 months in advance w/ special rate required payment at booking. Signed up for complimentary shuttle service to ship with a confirmed time. Closer to arrival date, the room rate dropped, and I applied for the price change via Radisson's web site. Request was denied, despite site wording saying I was within guarantee guidelines. I eventually gave up because, hey, it's a vacation. On arrival, I found that the room requests had not been granted. Transport shuttle time also didn't match the e-mail confirmation I received. Went immediately out to the pool to join dozens of people on the same cruise. Pool bar service was superb. Returned to my room quite late, and went into the bathroom to find fecal matter in the toilet (obviously hadn't been flushed in several days). Water filled the bowl, then began to overflow onto the floor. Was about to call front desk for assistance, but the flowing stopped. I knew hotel was 100% booked and no other rooms available, so I decided to just go to bed. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. At check-out I advised of the situation. I asked when my room was last occupied, but that info was denied. I offered the front desk my camera to see a picture of a floor full of water and worse stuff. Ick! The front desk was also continuing to tell guests that ship was several hours away from arrival when, in fact, if was entering the channel of Port Canaveral right then. During the cruise, a car belong to one in our group was stolen from the 'secure parking' available during the cruise. Hotel had no clue about it.
