After arriving at the hotel, I went to check in. I was met by a clerk at the front counter whom I couldn't understand. He typed something on the computer then slapped a "Denied" credit card slip on the counter and said one word "Denied." I explained that I had already paid for the room through web, so he pointed again several times to the slip and commanded me to call web. I've never been so rudely treated at a motel. I called web, who after a couple phone calls to the clerk and about 20 minutes on hold, managed to help the gentleman process the transaction. At no point did I feel welcomed to the Ramada or to Cartersville. There were four features that I needed from a motel that weekend. 1: A pool to relax after a long hot day working in the sun. Guess what? Their tiny pool was closed. 2: Ice machine. I needed to fill my water jug with ice for a long day of work. It was out of order. 3: Breakfast. They had the most anemic breakfast I've ever seen in my life. There were a few cereals, Walmart white bread, hard boiled eggs, and tiny pre-packaged muffins. The juice machine was empty. When we brought our water jugs in to the sink, you would have thought the tap water was worth $* the way the clerk ran in there to scowl at us. 4: The room. This was okay. The beds and room were comfortable, though very dated. Unfortunately, I regret our choice, when there were so many other hotels in the area for a few dollars more. Do yourself a favor and make another selection. Then, you won't be disappointed.

This was a nice hotel in a quiet, safe location. Very easily accessible from the interstate. The breakfast was decent and had a couple nice touches from the management. The staff was friendly and available. Rooms seemed recently updated - tile, countertops, carpet, bedding. We would stay there again.

The hotel is only one block from Rt 75, but it is very very quiet. Sits right next to a very nice home. The pavement is all new The carpet was clean and not stained. Nice bathroom with granite like surface. Dust ruffles and comforter and four pillows per bed. Nice for watching TV. Water hot, everything worked. The only negative was the ice machine did not work on the first floor. The staff was very helpful. A good breakfast including hard boiled eggs. I stayed here in Feb 2010. A good place for my dog.

The hotel and room were dingy. It appeared the sheets and towels were clean, but I couldn't quite trust it because of the dingy feel. I had a danish from their continental breakfast and it was stale. There was throw up on the sidewalk that hadn't been cleaned. Aside from the throw-up there was nothing terrible about it. We stayed there overnight on our way to Ohio for Christmas. It was ok as a place to rest your head for the night. Can't say anything more positive than that for this hotel.
