Im from San diego, Ca and was traveling to Merced to visit UC Merced for an orientation for my daughter. Not knowing anything about any of the hotels in Merced i took a chance booking at Ramada and i am glad i did. Susan at the front desk was very accomadating and made my stay very pleasurable. If my daughter decides to go to school in Merced i will make that the hotel i stay in on a regular. My room was clean and nice. Thanks Susan

Stinky carpets, they gave a very small refund when told about the smell! They had a plastic rod sticking out from the bed that hurt one in our group. One person in our group reserved a room with 1 king bed and they put us in a room with 2 queens. Breakfast was more of a snack than a breakfast but it wasn't that bad. The front desk was friendly for the most part.

Not too far from Yosemite but far enough to make the price drop for your stay. The rooms were small and bathrooms were VERY worn and even a bit nasty around the tub. Supposed to have cont. breakfast but the first day only had half of the food out for you to choose from and the second day it was 80% gone 2 hours before it was supposed to and no one around to help. I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada. Everyone was very friendly and we had everything we wanted or needed. The couch and chairs were very comfortable and the room was soo spacious. Most of all the bed was soo comfortable and I wish I could have taken it home with me. If I could think of any complaints it would be that the heater did not heat up the room quick enough. Maybe the heaters not big enough for that large of a space, I dont know. But it took until the morning of checkout until we could shut it off and say we were warm. But only one complaint in that sense, i would say that's pretty good. We had a great time and defenintly plan on comming back. Thank u
