The room was fine (the breakfast was pretty brutal though, lukewarm eggs not my idea of a good breakfast) other than the fact that they rip you off when you're checking out. My girlfriend and I attempted to rent a pay per view movie from our room only to receive a "no signal" sign on our TV. I phoned front desk and they told us that the ppv is not currently available on the flat screens (another bummer). But they assured us we wouldn't be charged. Go to the checkout, guess what?! They charged us, and not only that but they refused to take it off our bill even after we explained to them what happened and what the lady at the front desk told us the night b4. We were staying in one of the govn suites, already paying 200 bucks a night and they thought it might be fitting to jip another 15 dollars of us. Wow... all i have to say is wow.... Not coming back and advising anyone else to go the Hilton instead.

My family stayed 4 nights in a suite while a family member was in critical care at a nearby hospital. While the room was clean and amenities fine, the beds were not comfortable and had the distintive crinkle of a plwaterproof mattress pad. Most nights were fine as far as noise, but Sat. the Ramada hosted four separate wedding receptions. I awoke at 3 a.m. Sun. a.m. to revellers in the hallway, and hoped our 16-month-old would not awaken. I called the front desk, who responded promptly, however, Sunday a.m. evidence of the good time was scattered over the hotel property: half-consumed beer bottle by the elevator, beer can in the lobby despite a sign that said alchohol was not to be served or consumed there. It gave the hotel a frat house atmosphere. The restaurant served incredible blueberry pancakes and the quality of the food was good, but the service was hit and miss. One day, we told the hostess to communicate to the server we were hoping to get to the hospital asap, requested a high chair and saw neither chair nor server for more than 10 minutes. We ended up not ordering. Another time I ordered room service to save time and requested an extra plate. The plate arrived. The order did not. Hskpg was another interesting story. We opted for just towels and trash service as our toddler needed naps and we didn't want to have our room disturbed. New towels were brought, soiled ones forgotten. Trash removed, but liners forgotten. Perhaps front desk staff were pitch-hitting for housekeeping. It took several calls until all was well. Lesson to self is to avoid "full service" hotels with large bars and banquet facilities, and opt for smaller hotels with complimentary breakfasts and do-it-yourself laundry facilities.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I especially liked the double sheets on the bed which is a feature I always look for in a hotel. I was only there evernight on business so I can't comment on any other amenities but it seemed like a very nice place to stay and I would recommend it wholeheartedly. Thanks
