stayed there twice not my dime relative gift after 2nd stay told relative no more! indoor pool hasnt been cleaned in months hair dirt bandaids toe nails you name it my children and I found it. Extra cot cost 15 no in room movies tried to order take out at 8:15PM no one returned to the restaruant entry to take our order. Hostess said wait a minute 10 minutes later we drove to Jack in the box. The hotel is completely a maze we stayed on 4th floor which was labeled the 7th floor no sign to find pool. Prices for meals are outrageous 12 for a tuna sandwich... plus 18 tip added in on any order double queen room is very small. Good location though...

For the price you pay you would expect clean, quality rooms and good service. That is not what you get at this hotel. They are poorly managed and understaffed, and dont seem to care. Our room was dirty, we could never get ahold of anyone at guest services, the line would either ring indefinately or would be busy. We stayed at another hotel a few towns away for the same price and had a super clean room, friendly helpful staff and a free hot breakfast. I highly recommend looking for another hotel when you come to Spokane.

Went to stay for the 4th of July weekend as it is near the park where the fireworks were taking place. We came back about 7 p.m.from a family outing to get ready for the fireworks at 10 pm and there was NO parking at our hotel. The lot attendant told us they were not out early enough to police parking and secure it for guests only. We had to go into the hotel and get a paper ""pass"" from desk (where everyone else was also waiting) in order to park a mile away from our room and lug our beach gear across the lots. The Holdiay Inn just up the hill seem to have plenty of parking for their guests. Secondly we came back to our room the second day and the entire room smelled of urine. Sure the beds were made and things were straightend but the smell was terrible. It seemed to me as if the bathroom floor was wiped down with less than clean water. Next time I will stay at the Holiday Inn and see if we are more satisfied with those accomodations.

Our stay was just OKAY during our recent visit to Spokane. The room was very very small and bathroom floors not clean in the corners. Bed was okay but had to request extra pillows as they only gave us 3 very small little lumps...we also were not told about the semi-continental breakfast on check-in and had ordered a full breakfast only later determining the $7.00 additional charge was an option. Internet access by credit card only...first 15 minutes free...hmmmm. We loved the setting close to Riverfront Park and the ability to walk to several different restaurants. Will try the Doubletree next time.

Pool was drained for repair, not told this at time of reservations and when asked for compensation I got the run around, hotel blamed travelocity and travelocity blamed hotel, No one wanted to take the blame so the customer (me) took it in the shorts. Will never go back, did not realize I was not talking to Red Lion directly but a third party (travelocity) It was a scam. I think one should be told they are not talking to the hotel directly but probably someonein another country who can barely speak english. Pools are a mainstay of hotels and if they are not going to be available this should beupfront information, not listed as an amenitie that doesn,t exist. You people should get together and make it right.
