One of most unpleasant stays I've ever experienced. Poor parking, would not relocate me because of the construction outside my room (on the Inn itself). Thin walls, listened to noisy neighbor all night long. Will never stay at a Red Lion Inn again.

In our 50's, this is the second worst place we've ever stayed. Filthy carpets, cramped rooms, dirty linens left in the bathroom from previous occupant, old ratty bed linens..... They have the money to put marble on the walls floor to ceiling in the bathroom but not to buy new linens????? Priorities people!!!!!! But the worst thing was picking up a 'clean' glass on the sink and have it stick to your hand!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS ....because it sure isn't worth the $$$'s we paid!

Wondderful experience. Rec'd upgrade to a suite for nominal add'l cost. Room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave came in handy. The Red Lion Inn is conveniently located about 2 k from heart of downtown; accessible by foot or by bus. This hotel is a good value.

stayed 3 days at this hotel. it's not at inner harbour area, but close enough for everything. staff are very friendly. beds are comfortable. a very nice restuant in the hotel. i like the most is the free high-speed internet, which is true high-speed and offered both wireless and wired. there is a small kitchennet in our room, we found it is very helpful as well. i would like to stay here again.

Considering the prices of most hotel rooms in Victoria this hotel room was okay. I've stayed in better rooms, but as I said, it was okay for the price. There is a strip club on the back side and directly in front, so, you might reconsider a stay here if you have children.
