  Located right off of the interstate, very affordable rates, and helpful staff. Hardly any amenities, but for the rate you pay it's understandable. I have stayed in worse places, and I've stayed in much better places. Benton Harbor has a bad reputation for being unsafe, whether that's justified or not I don't know, perhaps it's hostility or ignorance stemming from the riots several years ago. If you were traveling to the St. Joe/Benton Harbor area for the weekend, pay a little extra and stay in St. Joe.
