A very nice place. With easy check in and check out. Room was much better than other Red Roof Inns that we have stayed at. It may have recently been updated as things looked very nice. Booked it for 2011 show in that area. Nice person at the desk told me their water was soft which helped me select the right shampoo in the AM. Going the extra mile helps.

Cheap. No frills. A bed and bathroom. That is all you get with this hotel. Staying here during a Wisconsin Winter is no bargain considering you enter via private doors OUTSIDE. The only thing going for this hotel unfortunately is the price. If you are frugal an don't need any amenities, then this is the hotel for you. Otherwise there are better options for $* more next door/across the street.

Really, what else can I say. The bed was big. The bathtub was clean. Big Dead Cockroach on the bathroom floor. Bathroom Fan Noisy enough to scare off any other bugs. I hope. I couldn't figure out to turn on the heat. I slept with my sweatshirt on. Stay. Away.

I would rate this hotel/motel as one of the best in this price range. My room was spacious and very clean. Bed comfort was comparable to that of a luxury hotel. It is conveniently located near the interstate (yet quiet), a large shopping mall with many restaurants, and a bus stop for Madison Metro. There was no coffee machine in the room but I could get free coffee in the lobby. I would definitely go back to this place in the future.

I was fairly impressed with the staff and services provided. Very kind and genuinely helpful staff. The issues regarding housekeeping could easily be resolved by just informing the front desk of when you are leaving so they can gauge when to come in and clean. If you don't want them knocking on your door early in the morning, just place the privacy card on the outside of the door. Basic cable is provided. Free USA today newspaper. No free Wi-fi internet services, but you can purchase a 7-day prepaid tmobile hotspot internet card for about $20. There's an IHOP, Perkins, and Japanese restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Texas Roadhouse, Pot Belly, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Panera and the Mall are across the street (albeit they're separated by a very busy intersection). One of the issues that I had was the ""soft water"" when taking a shower. It left my skin feeling slimy, but I guess it's to prevent skin drying. Also, I was concerned with the safety/location of my room. Not enough lighting in the parking lot, esp. being on the back end of the hotel. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, and I can't complain for the value that I'm paying for my stay. I will stay there again for future business trips.
