The staff was friendly the room was fine except for some noise.... The main reason we chose this hotel was because it had an indoor pool but after we checked in....we went down to the pool to see adults standing in the pool with the water stopping at their knees. We had to turn around and tell the kids they wouldn't be swimming at this hotel. A pool that small I wouldn't think should have more than 2 families in it for safety and health reasons. No elevator which was a pain...Shower not overly clean... air works fine but its cool out

I drove a car full of teens to cedar point this summer and this hotel was a little out of the way from the point but the rates made up the difference. The room was clean, LARGE enough for all my teens and me...will be certain to stay again this fall for the Halloweekends!

The desk clerk announced (loudly) the room number of every guest that checked in. While waiting in the lobby, I heard room numbers for three other guests! This is a terrible security problem. Our room looked like it had been converted from a maintenance room or something and had the only exterior entrance in the whole hotel. The noise was awful because it had the hotel office/lobby on one side, the laundry on another side, and the main entrance was at our doorstep! We heard every car pulling up to register. There was mold around the bathtub. The manager explained that it was hard for maintenance to get in and take care of things like mold during the busy season! NOT A GOOD EXCUSE - bleach would work for daily maintenance. There were huge stains on the wall. The armoire was damaged and should have been replaced. The television reception was grainy. The air conditioner may work better if the air were deflected away from blowing straight up between the curtains and the window. We had to weigh the curtains down with shoes, etc. just to get the room cool. They ran out of coffee during the continental breakfast and never did brew more. !

Desk clerk was very friendly, we had a problem at another hotel we were to stay in and ended up coming to this one instead and she let us go see the room first before we decided to stay. Room was clean and quiet. Free breakfast was pretty good. Pool was clean. Only negative thing about our stay was a couple of spiders we came across, no biggie.
