The stay was very good. Everything is connected by covered bridges so that I did not have to go outside, which was a plus since we had 15 inches of snow fall during our stay. The only issues that I had were locating the entrance to the hotel and the parking was in a public facility which was a bit pricy. It would have been perfect if the hotel paid for the parking or part of the parking.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Target center. I was a little concerned by reading the pther comments but decided to book it because it was where I needed to be. I was pleasantly surprised by the professional way I was treated when I checked in. It just kept getting better. My room was beautiful and very clean. The social at 5:30 was fantastic and the breakfast was even better! I would stay here now everytime I attend an event at the Target center! I hated to leave!

The room was nice, but the customer service at this hotel was lousy. What I paid for it, I could have stayed at the Hilton or Radisson which offered the same rate and I will next time. The staff here is so concern about watching out for undesirables that they lack any friendliness. For example, when I came into the lobby, staff would be behind the counter. I did not once hear, "Good Morning," "Good Evening," or even "Hi." Also, there is a hold put on credit cards (even if prepaid reservations like mine) for "incidentals." There is no mention on the amenities description regarding this. I found out about this when I checked in. What is even more ridiculous was when I asked how much would be held, I was told, "well, it depends. Maybe around $* or $* bucks." I don't know about anyone else, but I take my money (including my credit cards) seriously. I asked to speak with the manager which was a waste of time. When I got to my room, I discovered that I was given a room overlooking the parking garage and with the air vents for the hotel right in front of the window. Was this done on purpose? I don't know. This was my first and last time staying at a Marriott hotel. As I said before, for the rate at this place, you can stay at the Raddison or the Hilton which is about the same.
