This was a very clean, comfortable, roomy hotel. The included am breakfast was varied, fresh and plentyful. They also provided a free shuttle to the JW Marriott resort, the local shopping mall and just about anywhere else within a few miles. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was not at all like the previous reviews that date from 2006. My recent visit was pleasant overall, and I stayed again about a month later. The hotel has been recently renovated, with contemporary furniture in the rooms and public areas. Each room has a sitting area with a comfortable reclining chair. I found the kitchen, with full-sized refrigerator, really nice. The rooms were quiet, with excellent climate control. The desk staff was always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast attendant was cheerful. and very attentive. On the negative side, the housekeeping was irregular. Some days it was great, others days it wasn't. They were supposed to run the dishwasher each day, but most days they didn't, and I had to ask for detergent to be able to run it myself. I noticed that a spot on the bathroom floor remained for my entire stay, and several days after I spilled some trail mix in the kitchen, it became apparent that they didn't clean under the table. Some of the rooms on the second floor have a view of the first floor roof with all the mechanical stuff (vents, air conditioners, or whatever), so ask for a higher room if a view is important. The pool was nice, with shaded cabanas, and the attendant kept it cleared of used towels. Parking was abundant, and the lot appeared to be recently paved. Guest laundry came in handy during an extended stay.

Upon arrival the front desk staff was arguing with customer over reservations. There was a line of 3 people and it took us an hour to get our room. There were guests arguing over parking when we arrived. ALOT OF CHAOS!!! The hotel was not very clean. The bathroom in our room had mold growing around the shower and toilet.The ice machines did not work. The pool had no water in it. The loaction was good. Right off highway and 1 mile from river and down town. Good continental breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel while on our way back from Florida. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were as old as the hotel and small enough for an ant. The lobbys and common areas were all hot as get out. The hotel really needs some TLC!!!
