Brief stay was very good. Room was new and nice, plenty of space. Breakfast was middle-to-top grade of the serve-yourself type. Location is pretty good, a few blocks' walk into downtown. Biggest surprise: free shuttle bus service to/from train or airport, and around town. Nice.

Love, love, LOVE this hotel! We stayed here in August 2010, and we will be coming back in Dec, and looking we are looking forward to it.Portland is a wonderful city, and the Residence Inn makes it even better! VERY professional and friendly staff. They really go out of their way to help out in any situation. The room was great, very chic and has everything you could need. My only wish is that there be an onsite restaurant. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, however. Don't let this jewel of a hotel get past you!

New hotel, modern, clean, comfortable, excellent service, they will even go shopping for you... Drop your grocery list off at the front desk in the morning and your food will be there later that day. The room we stayed in had full frige, microwave, 2 burner glasstop stove, dishwasher, and dishes. There is an atrium on the second floor with a gas grill for guests to use (all complimentary). Breakfast was also included and you had a small table and chair set in your room if you did not feel like eating down in the cafe. We checked in late with no reservation, the hotel only had a couple of rooms left and the front desk still offered us a discounted rate. Parking was only $* a day not bad compared to some of the hotels around the area. The lounge was comfortable with pleanty of sitting area. We will be back soon.
