  The hotel is brand new and very clean. It is located right downtown, within easy walking distance of all Portsmouth in-town attractions. Parking is extra, *$/day, but you will be able to leave your car behind in a guaranteed parking spot (and parking is very tight in Portsmouth). City parking woiuld be *$/day so this is a good deal. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet daily with hot eggs, a meat selection, make-your-own waffles, pastries, juices, cereals, fruit etc. There is also an evening meal several nights a week (lasagna, hot dogs/hamburgers). You have to pay for wine or beer but the food is free. We had a 1 bedroom suite. The kitchenette is small but complete (full size refrigerator, small stove, microwave and dishwasher). The sink is outside the shower/tub/toilet area, which I don't like, since one person cannot wash without disturbing someone sleeping. The bed was very comfortable. There was not enough storage area for clothes ( 1 tiny 2-drawer dresser). There were dozens of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hotel has a nice, small pool (indoor) and a small but quite adequate exercise room.
