Wonderful experience with the Residence Inn

My family needed to come to Stockton for a funeral and even it was an extremely difficult time, the staff at this hotel did everything possible to help us. They helped place us in a much needed suite at the last moment, were gracious and kind. When they accidently gave us the wrong suite at first ( one of the beds was not completely made) they stumpled all over themselves, helping us move to make the switch over ( which was not bad at all) very easy. (We actually didn't really need to move but the hotel insisted that we have a perfect suite.) I've stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels where the staff did not compare to the staff at this hotel. Whenever we needed anything, they quickly and happily helped us. The complimentary breakfast was great and the setting very cozy, with fire going and the rain falling.
Whenever we needed directions, they were prompt and accurate.
The rooms were spacious and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen made the stay less stressful. Nearby great restaurants and businesses were also a bonus. The suite was also very quiet and the evening security was very thorough.
When there was a glich in the funeral plans, they helped us with a late checkout and helped my husband with the late check-out.
Throughout the stay, we never detected any annoyance on the part of the staff.
Finally, the parking was very convenient with parking spaces available near the suite we chose on each night. -

Had a nice one night stay at the Residence Inn, Stockton. Only two complaints was that our door slammed every time we came in or went out, and housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am even though we had the sign out saying ""No Service.""

Had a nice one night stay at the Residence Inn, Stockton. Only two complaints was that our door slammed every time we came in or went out, and housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am even though we had the sign out saying ""No Service.""
