  Kind, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. Clean, modern rooms with full new baths. WiFi reception is great, but connection to the Internet can be somewhat sporadic. Great , generous breakfasts. There are all the traditional Argentinian choices(media lunas, yogurt, cold rolled ham and cheese slices, etc.). A nice added touch for Asian visitors (and everyone bored by the usual fare) is the table dedicated to breakfast choices that include jook, sauteed cabbage, and Chinese sausage. AND there's no traffic congestion as the hotel is situated along runway 35R of the old El Calfate Airport with lots of room for u-turns and minimal possibilities for collisions! Being at the old airport does mean that there's a short drive or a six-block walk into the main street of El Calafate but you may enjoy a quiet area a bit away from the main drag.
