100 Times better than red roof inn, pool was closed because of cold weather but our view from our room was awesome. Clean room. Only thing was guy at desk was not the most helpful and our fire place was only one setting....other than that we enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again.

The people at the front desk were not the friendliest. Hotel definately needed updating!! Room was not cleaned very well and sheets were not changed every day. We were told we were going to be on the 6th floor and we were on the 5th. Also we did not have a private balcony, which we were also told we would have!! The best thing about this hotel was the closeness to town and being able to walk instead of drive, and the view of the mountains. Otherwise, the pictures and description are not what it's really like. For the price and no longer than we were in the room, I "guess" it was worth it. Don't know that we will stay there again.

the first room we were given was sooo bad I almost burst into tears. We were there to celebrated a birthday & it was horibble. Old furnishings, only balcony was a WALKWAY. TV did not work while maintence was there we was told " do not close blinds at door this would tear them up". So blinds mean more than my safety & anyone should be allowed to walk by & browse my room. We spoke with front desk & was given another room. As we left the maintence man said we had parked where his golf carts are chained. " there was NO marking & was a parrallel mark, A COP is the one who parked there!!!!! The 2nd was MUCH better had a balcony & was very nice just no washclothes. My eval is for the first room.

Not very expensive, great location, nice rooms and a cold A/C on a hot summer day made our stay very pleasant. Bar and restaurant not up to my usual service standards, but nice to get a drink after long day and have a hot breakfast in morning. Staff all polite easy parking nice pools and great central Gatlinburg location
