We stayed here on way home to Albuquerque after Christmas trip to visit grandparents. Cold weather at time; parking lot not totally cleared of ice and snow. Rooms are old, but OK. Awkward set-up of bathroom, as shower & toilet apart from sink & faucet. Heating in room was excellent, as it was below freezing outside, but very nice inside. Bathroom not heated as well as rest of room due to awkward set-up of room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I stayed with wife, daughter, and dog. In-room microwave and fridge were helpful to us. We were pleasantly surprised with a rather un-advertised breakfast: coffee, milk, cereal, muffins, bagels, rolls. This helped us a lot, as on New Year's Day, local restaurants were all closed in the morning.
Overall, a good place to stay if you're in to saving money. Price was very good for what we got. If you want elegance and the latest in modern technology and furnishings, this is not for you. If you want an inexpensive room that's decent, this is probably a good choice.
