Needing a hotel that accommodates pets, I booked this for myself and 4 young children. We frequent the Williamsburg area, but this time I wanted to save money on the hotel since my husband was not coming. I immediately regretted this decision. Outdated and inexpensive is one thing, but this place is far past that. Musty, dusty air and smell, doorknob holes in bathroom wall, walls not painted or cleaned in many years, just run down! The louvered closet doors were filthy, the closet with bed linens was full of dust, and the sofa looked like it had years of dust embedded in it, I was hesitant about sleeping on it! The king bed was comfortable and my kids had a good nights sleep, but I was up at 1 am cancelling the last two nights. I was reimbursed for the 3rd night by the hotel (thank you!), and left the next morning. So, yes, I paid for two hotels the 2nd night! If it's just adults and you want to save a buck, stay. Please don't take your kids here! I wanted to cry when I saw where they were spending the night!! The BEST thing about the room was the shower. The water pressure was unbelievable, and the water was hot! Better than some of the best hotels!! Also, the night clerk was very nice with my late check-in, and the clerk who credited me the third night was very kind.

From the first day of arrival to the last day, I was astonished as to the service, the comfort, the cleanliness and the location with that said I new that I didnt go wrong with this hotel. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in my lifetime.

I am very pleased to say that my stay at the Magnuson Hotel in Sandersville, GA, was a wonderful experience. The price you pay to stay in a nice hotel can burn a hole in your wallet but this hotel helped my save the extra dollar. I am pleased to say that I will return!
