This hotel is charming from the minute you walk in the front. The one bedroom suites are perfect for a couple on a romantic weekend or a business traveler, even a family of 4. There's room to lounge around, a full kitchen, and a closet in the bedroom big enough to stay for a week. The service was very personal and met our every need in a prompt and friendly fashion. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the convention center and 3 blocks from the beach. The neighborhood needs a little work but much quieter than anything on the beach.

A/C: noisy box in window. Kitchen: basic, no dish washer, no garbage grinder. Bathroom: small, basic with barely operational fixtures. Laundry: 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in the courtyard, difficult to access because used most of the time by hotel staff to wash towels etc. Breakfast: lacks personality: bread, muffins, eggs, fruit, frozen butter, budget cheese, jelly. Parking: on the street and difficult to find despite hotel ""guest pass"" ($10/day). Despite central Miami Beach location unappealing street. Pros: see website. Rating 2-3 stars. Overpriced at $195 + tax.
