By far the best accommodations in San Ignacio. It sets on a hill just at the edge of town and while it's extremely quiet there, it's just a short walk into the center of town. Good, secure parking is provided out front. On the backside of the resort is a series of nature trails leading all the way to the Macal River. Birds and other wildlife can be seen from your room and while dining at the outdoor part of the restaurant. The guided tour of the resort's Iguana Project and the the Medicinal Jungle Trail are must do activities. We found the rooms to be very nice and complete with a flat screen TV and very adequate air conditioning with a remote control. The rooms are exceptionally quiet and the beds are very comfortable. All of the staff members were all very accommodating and helpful. We loved the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices and great food.

The staff at the resort were absolutely the highlight of the stay. They were friendly and courteous, and never tired of our hundreds of questions and requests. The resort is located in a small town that was at times a little uncomfortable for two women to walk around alone in. There was also not much to do in town specifically. The resort is clean, the beds are comfy, the pool is nice. It's a good, central place to stay, where you can access the different attractions in Belize.

This is one of the nicer lodges in San Ignacio, a 5 to 10 minute walk uptown from the main st. on Burns. The staff is friendly, but looked annoyed when we questioned our bill in detail (there was no funny accounting; we just wanted to make sure we were being charged properly). Unfortunately, the room we stayed in had over 12 bugs including a butterfly, some flies, large ants, and insects that make loud noises you'd hear in the jungle (which we did on one of our activities there). I'm sure sharing my room w/ these insects contributed to the myriad bug bites I came home w/. Our last night at the resort, we discovered small blood stains on our changed bedsheets! (Looked like it was from a bloody nose, but completely unacceptable nonetheless!) I am more about comfort in my own lodging room than an asthetically pleasing exterior and for that I will not be coming back here.

Although it s the priciest hotel in San Ignacio, it was a great place to stay. We felt secure, it was near enough main roads to launch out on adventures, rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. Everything looke, neat, clean, and tidy.
