the Resort was good and the ocean was beautiful !!! We were a liitle disappointed with the size of the pool. There was only 1 pool and 1 very small swim up bar pool. Also, the Resort is located right near the airport and you see and hear the planes go by all day & night long. You need to drink a lot of rum to forget about the sound. Do not go on the excursion titled "Rafting on the Martha Brae". This is not what the brochure describes and there is not much to see. Just a warning that the people there in Jamaica can be very annoying with pushing you to buy items. Overall, we had a great time. Dec. 24, 2009.

My friend and I stayed at the Sandals at the end of our work conference in Montego Bay.The Hotel is gorgeous. The grounds are spotless and it is designed beautifully and intimately to make every area a place you want to enjoy. The rooms are sweet, clean and elegant. The beds are comfortable (hard to find at most all-inclusives). The Air Conditioning worked perfectly. We were upgraded to a ground floor room and our doors opened right out to the Ocean - WOW! The pools are lovely and clean, the drinks are top quality and fantatic. All the staff was friendly, happy and did their best to help in any situation. As to the food, now that was spectacular. It was as good as any food you would find in a 5 star restaurant in London or Vancouver. Just amazing. Every single meal was a dining treat. I would go back to this and any other Sandals resort in a heartbeat. Next time though, I will bring my husband, as Sandals really is a romantic place for couples and it was hard to be there without him. Missing Sandals already and looking forward to going back within the next 6 months to either a Sandals or a Beaches which I hear is just as good and lots more fun! Only thing to note, it is adjacent to the Runway (as a few resorts are in Montego Bay), so you will hear about 12-15 planes going overhead, starting with the first at 7AM and the last at around 7PM. I cannot wait to go back!!!

The accomodations and service at this hotel were very disappointing! There was a lack of hot water and water pressure. The food was cold if you weren't eating at the buffet. It was impossible to get reservations in any of the restaurants. Everything was under construction including the swimming pool which was not open!

THe stay at Sandal was EXcellent!!! The staff was very curteous. They made me and my husband feel like a king and queen. I have been on other trips and this has been the best trip thus far. I have never been treated so well by staff in life. I am so amazed and pleased. There was so many activities to do at the hotel. We went off the resort and did some water activities but lots to do there too. Every night they have some form of fun enteratainment for the tourists in the lobby. At the hotel, they stop by your room and fill up your refrigerator with beverages for free. the food was amazingly good. you get to chose from 6 different restaurants free of charge included in package deal. you get gourment dishes people! all the alochol you can drink before you drop day n day out. breakfast menu changes every day which is great. its a real breakfast omeletes, waffles, pankcakes, whatever you want however you like it. its a buffet style at breakfast and at 1 or 2 restaurants. other restaurants you order from a menu. after you eat one meal you won't have room to order a 2nd one even though you could. Food is unlimiited. they got 4 different bars. all the mix drinks there is beer wine whatver people! 1 or 2 of the bars stay open till 5 am. Party, party, party!!!!! I can't wait to go back!!!!!! just a FYI. when you go to montego bay bring small bills (lots). also go off the resort to see the beautiful country. There is a shuttle to take u to hotel .

We were on our honeymoon, I feel and broke my foot. Had to pay for the ride to the hospital. The ramp coming from the swim up bar needs to be padded down on both sides. There are no mat when coming out of the pool. The room had to be the worst room ever. Then they change rooms because I couldn't make it to the 2nd floor and that room was worse. The food was great. The karako night should be moved to happy hour, which normally starts 4:00 p.m., not 10:30 p.m. The hot tub was too hot to go in, it wasn't safe. The food was great. We wanted to stay in, we were on our honeymoon, and it's all inclusive could not order room service. Had to eat outside every night.
