Our party booked 6 rooms. The first room I was directed to had spiders in the bathtub, powder the bathroom floor from the previous occupants where the floor had not been swept or mopped. The room had a stench. Upon investigating, the refrigerator (which didn't work) had a tray under the freezer section full of molded water. The furniture was all deeply stained. When I complained about the room, I was amazed that the people that ran the motel thought it was perfectly acceptable room. I did finally get my room changed. The floor was still dirty; the loveseat has so many stains on it, we were afraid to sit on it. We had to clean the mirror and the TV before we could see anything. A cabinet would not stay shut. The phone was missing the face plate. The lights at the entry didn't work; we had to cross the room into the kitchen area to turn on lights. The air quit working. The front desk quit answering the phone, I assume after talking with other guests the next morning because they all tried complaining and didn't get anyone to answer the phone. There is no continental breakfast, hair dryer, VCR, valet parking, as the site advertises. All 8 rooms had smoking and ash trays. They advertise smoke free. Every bedspread had burn holes in them. One of the other rooms my brother originally had, the ceiling was falling in, and the ottoman had a slit the whole width with stuffing coming out. His second room also had stained furniture, dirty floors, mirrors, smudges on television and none of the amenities I previously mentioned. None of the eight rooms we either stayed in or were directed to was acceptable or looked anything like the pictures they have listed. We tried to get a refund to stay somewhere else; they had a 14 day non cancellation fee, and said they would charge us on our credit cards we reserved the rooms under anyway. The rest of the rooms were all as bad as ours and most of the air conditioners would work for just a short time.

The room was not clean with bed sheets & bath towels smellling of cigarette smoke. Holes in the bathroom wall, missing ceiling tiles exposing plumbing pipes above the shower, a cracked & dirty toilet seat that looked as if it had been picked from someone's trash. The room had to be prepaid in full, at the time the reservation was made. The owners refused to refund our money when we arrived to check in.
