When I woke up our first morning there I was determined to write a scathing review of this place. When we got there, the heater did not work, there was no light bulb in one of the bed side lamps, the floor lamp did not work properly and would flicker on and off. We got there late so we didnt bother to call down. When I looked in the shower there was hair and DENTAL FLOSS on the floor of the shower....they must not have even opened the shower let alone cleaned it. In general things were just a little "dirty". The bedside tables could have used a simple wipe down etc. And upon closer inspection it was apparent they didnt even bother to vacuum the room before our arrival. And laying in bed we found multiple long hairs on the inside of our comforter (and I see one hair maybe even two as excusable..but this was like 5 or 6 long hairs...if they had looked they couldn't have missed it). And in the morning we woke up to a terrible squeaking bed next door...and it was apparent why the bed was squeaking *yuck*. We woke up the next morning, carefully got ready to avoid touching to many things and left for the day...dreading having to come back for another night. But when we got back the room was quite clean. (except for the comforter. that still had a couple hairs in it, they obviously did not replace it). So while the first night was horrendous, the second night was not so bad. We may stay there again because the location was GREAT...but definitely with caution.

Hotel was in great location. I was attending a University of Washington football game. Area around hotel is very well kept with restauraunts right next door. I ordered Pizza delivered to room. Hotel very clean. Front staff very friendly. Room was in excellent condition. It appeared to be recently remodeled. Nice tile in shower and bath floor. Nice little breakfast bar with toast and coffee by office. I would stay there again.

12/05/2008Got a saturday night reservation for $*/night at 730pm on that saturday after thanksgiving. in downtown seattle area too....what a seattle bargain for a quick get-away!

Cold Room, Inexpensive rates
11/24/2008If you can stomache a 60 degree room [it did eventually heat up with the hot water running and the bathroom door open]; at least the last minute same day ...
If you can stomache a 60 degree room [it did eventually heat up with the hot water running and the bathroom door open]; at least the last minute same day book/check-in rate was $* off and $*a night at the University district with free parking is cheap.
