  Here are the lowlights: Room reeked of smoke (even though promised it was nonsmoking) Curtain rod came off in my hand when I went to shut drapes. Only thing holding table up was the wall...the broken leg was propped under it at an angle. Bedside lamp was turned upside down due to missing screw. The wallpaper in the ballroom was peeling off. Skipped shower since bath towels reeked of smoke. All my belongings had to be aired out after spending one night in room.

  Needed a room in KC. This place is near an interstate, easy to get to, just remodeled, good service, the area around the hotel is a business area, therefore not conjusted, I've stayed before and if i need a good room and no headaches, this is the place for me.

  The price was right and the hotel had a great mattress. The room was spacious enough, but it really needs updating. It looks well worn. At the price though, I should have expected that.
