01/01/2011After reading the bad reviews, i was worried but room was very good and service is all right. but the comments weren't wrong as the hotel charged $* for ammenties ...
After reading the bad reviews, I was worried but room was very good and service is all right. But the comments weren't wrong as the hotel charged $* for ammenties and when I asked, it was for spa which no longer exsited. I parked the car on the street to avoid another $* charge. I hope hotel will drop these charges.

Hyatt lives up to its quality and amenities. We received free full breakfast and buffet on the wkd. Our room was clean but the bath is between the outer room and bedroom area so my wife and I had to wait on one side or other whilst one of us was using it. It was an odd floor plan but seemed to work out. The room was noticeably quiet from the outside atrium or from our deck. It was in the low 100s outside and the a.c. kept us very comfy but the thermostat read over 5 degrees high. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was decent but because of the price, we would probably go somewhere else if it wasn't included. The pool was nice and warm and the jacuzzi was very nice. The best feature of this hotel is it's proximity to everything. Don't miss the Las Casuelas original downtown. If you have time, visit the Agua Caliente cultural museum about the Agua Caliente band of Cahuilla Indian tribe. Worth the time. There's lots to do and see. The pricing was a little high but not as bad as lesser equipped hotels. The parking garage kept the car cool during the daytime heat which was a big plus. This is a lovely property. Only complaint: No HDTV service, just poor cable on the HD capable TV. That's disappointing.

This hotel is great!! Rooms are amazing (each one is a suite), the staff is friendly, bar is great and the pool is fantastic!! Right on the strip in the middle of all the restaurants and bars.
