This hotel is excellent. The people were outstanding. They filled our requests promptly. The hotel exceeded my standards. It was clean, through and through. The location was not downtown, but it was not far. Charging for parking is unfortunate, but still cheaper than the other hotels. We could have parked on the street but decided to make it easier on ourselves.. Even without a car, the hotel provided a shuttle to many places, and was walking distance if need be. The complimentary laundry was an unexpected surprise. With our 3 kids, it was greatly appreciated!. The pool is small, but heated and the hot tub was nice. I enjoyed the hotel and everyone that worked there. Thank you for making it an excellent experience!

Hotel was great, room was very nice, bed was also very comfortable. The staff was excellent, but the food, the food was OUTSTANDING!!! That was the best food I've had in a hotel ever. great job!! The sound of the trains blasting thier horns was not good however but thats not the fault of the hotel.

It would be hard to beat this hotel. It is a mid-range priced hotel with an amazing, service oriented staff, spotlessly clean rooms, great bed and pillows, and very good restuarant. The GM, is one of the most is friendly, considerate and always around. The staff was able to assist us with any questions we had and even provided transportation to the waterfront when we had a time crunch. We would not even consider staying anywhere else while visiting Seattle.

We stayed at the Silver Cloud for our trip to Seattle to see Green Day in concert. The location is great, it is easy to find, and is close to every moajor seattle place to visit. The staff were AWESOME!!! We forgot earplugs, and since we needed them, we asked the front desk, and they gave us some for free. We also needed 2 plates to heat up some food in our microwave, and since the room service was closed;it was 2am; we didn't think we could get any plates, but once again the hotel surprised us by providing some. The rooms were spacious, had a HUGE Hi-Def TV in it, and had great showers with quality shampoos and conditioners. The beds were soft, and the room was spotless! The hotel also has a POOL ON THE ROOF!!!! The pool is ok sized, and there is also a seperate hot tub area. The view from the 9th floor is amazing. You can see Puget sound, safeco and qwest field, and other landmarks. Overall, BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!

After a long day of delayed flights, I arrived at the Silver Cloud Hotel at 1:00 a.m. PST to hear that they did not have my reservation from online travel website (even thought I confirmed it days before). The desk clerk took care of getting me a room and said he would call online travel website in the morning to take care of the mix up. He did and everything worked out fine. Then when I was leaving the desk clerk gave me directions to the bus that would take me to the airport. Unfortunately, the directions were wrong and I found myself in a sketchy area with all of my luggage. I called the hotel and after sitting on hold for 5 minutes, someone was able to advise me I was only a few blocks away from the actual stop. Then, the clerk gave me the wrong bus number. Luckily, the locals where nice enough to make sure I got on the correct one. The room and hotel was very nice. Great location, clean, great pool, free wifi, free guest laundry, etc. So, the moral of the story is....print out your confirmation. Even with these hiccups, I would stay there again.
